Opening your
SureStart Account
is EASY

  • Just come in to any FirstCaribbean branch and talk with any of our Personal Bankers.
  • An account can be opened for anyone 17 years and under with a small starting deposit.
  • For children 6 years or younger, a parent or guardian must open the account.
  • Children 7 to 12 years can have account opened in their names but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Teens 13 to 17 years may open an account for themselves.
  • ID Requirements:
    - When opening accounts for children under 13 years, you must have valid  identification (e.g. National Identity Card, passport) plus acceptable proof of your current address. While not essential, it is preferable to have photo ID for your child/ward.
    - Teens 17 and under must have at least one form of valid photo identification.
    *A fee for early account closure applies (subject to local regulations).
