FirstCaribbean Credit Card Security Notice

FirstCaribbean International Bank recently became aware of a large data security breach at TJX Companies Inc which is in the US, a merchant payment processor that is not affiliated with FirstCaribbean International Bank.

Only credit card information was breached, no personal information was compromised. As a regional leader in fraud prevention we are working closely with VISA and Mastercard as their officials actively and carefully monitor the situation.

FirstCaribbean has obtained and reviewed compromised account numbers and we will be notifying customers likely to be at risk. For the protection of our customers, we will be placing necessary precautionary measures on affected accounts.

We will continue to monitor your accounts, and impacted customers will be notified of any risk. In such unfortunate cases, your credit card account will be closed and reassigned, once you have been notified.
